These are just some of the whingy, whiney (and sometimes arousing) sentiments I hear from members of the Bathurst/Orange poker community EVERY DAY since I arrived back in Bathurst from my sojourn in Newcastle with Phil for the WPPT. So here it is bitches, the reason I haven't been updating is because... I didn't know what ballers were doing back here in the B-Town ghetto. And the answer is... a lot of poker/gangsta related shit. Of course. We're mofucking hats.
So here's some skinny for yas. The homegame scene has been booming in Bathurst at least with APL seemingly shriveling up and dying, being reduced to just one freeroll and one pro series.
NPL is going ok too, but the money is really to be made from the NPL TDs and owners at the home games... with Matty P, Big Ben and me raking a shitload from players like Pat, Novak and Addell(sp) at Mark and Jenny Cowie's place. The bomb shit.
Specially of note as well, was Matty P's blazing hotstreak with a WIN of St. Pats club (knocking out a former WSOP 70th place finisher [70th out of 8773, mind you]) as well as Matty P and me making the final table of the NPL $10 rebuy game at the Kelso, agreeing to a 4-way $200 split when we were down to 4 players. Cha-ching.
So there's your update. If you want more of this gangsta update shit... do it when I'm not busy. I've got poker to play and fish to exploit.

and bathurst people will be happy to hear that orange is getting another venue most likely the ophir and the royal will become a weekly $11 freeze out, see what happens when you support your clubs and pubs, how can you blame the runners of the APL when in orange its showing no real signs of dying down, must just be the bathurst folk

stylez hasnt been in bathurst for a while so ill give u an update thor when the 5 hats have been in bathurst to play we have gone to support the apl clubs we cant help when the dumb fucks dont support the clubs most of us want venues back like the RSL.
but we get on average 80 on a sunday at panthers and 40 at the pats which is a pro series event were u get on average 61 on a thursday at the ex- services and 54 on a sunday game A and 39 for game B so were is the support on sundays u lose 15 people between game A and B???? and an average of 40 at the royal so with 2 events one being a money game we find that bathurst gets more numbers to events than orange if we still had wednesday at panthers we can safely say that we would get about 75 to the event but hey thor what ever u know we only started home games because the RSL wasnt on on saturdays and we wanted a game and we started on wednesdays because of the same reason and let me just add terrys on a wednesday is a fair rival to most of a game in orange inpeople wise its already a better game than in orange.
sensation has rumored to of paid every single member of new era to stay by giving each member one free pro series by in per month dis isn't a lair i have spoken to a member and have been told not to use names thats y iam using anonymous name
its not about the numbers turning up, its the money that is spent there to justify holding the event and its obvious the clubs and pubs arent getting enough money from you guys to justify having an event, its all good to say you get 80 people and so on but if you arent spending money supporting the club that is hosting the event for you, then why would they continue to host it?
as for the anonymous poster keep your bullshit stories to yourself and if you are going to post shit at least put your name to it and stop being a gutless coward but its not hard to figure out that you are a 5 hats member though
the Sensation isn't Thor, diz. It's Chris Mauler -- an angry little man who has little better to do than post random derogatory shit on other peoples blogs. Don't even read his useless comments, they contain nothing but the literary equivalent of anal leakage.
If you really have a problem with my character sensation come up and talk to me at an event. I'm the tall guy with the white full tilt poker hat. Come call me a loser to my face, or have a civil conversation with me if you actually are a decent guy.
Everyone else I've met from Orange has been friendly as all hell but if you keep running your mouth on mine and my friends blogs then we might have a problem.
You do realise that these blogs are designed to encourage friendly competition amongst teams, not to have keyboard warriors such as yourself come flame people they don't know and have never actually met.
Also, the last comment I posted was actually my friend Sherm who was playing music on my computer while I was drinking hefty amounts of Jagermeister... just so everyone knows...

All I'm saying is that I don't take all these personal comments about myself and my friends lightly... as I'm sure a person such as yourself wouldn't. There's no threat implied because that would be taking these "blog wars" far too far, of course. Just a heads up to tone down the trash talk on my friends blogs and my blogs calling us shit like tip rats, losers, etc. because as we don't know you it could be construed as a personal attack and therein lies the problem, where these fun blogs actually create an animosity between Bathurst and Orange players when in the past there has been more of a mutual respect for our love of poker (with some light sledging between friends of course).

what iwas trying to get across was with supporting your clubs and pubs is that yes you do get more people on average to those events but its pointless if you guys arent putting money into the club that is holding the event for you
so at panthers on sunday you got 87 to the event now which cost the club around $957 to hold the event there now they would have to get at least $1200 from the players to justify holding the event because its meant to bring in more money so on average they expect each player to spend around $15, so for the club and pubs to stop hosting events which i believe bathurst used to have 5 or 6 a week before this season the players mustnt be supporting them by spending money there which is why the APL has tried to introduce this buy 2 drinks get an extra $1000 in chips, its not the APL failing the bathurst poker scene it the players who turn up 5 minutes before it starts and leave 5 minutes after they get out, at the Club here on a thursday we may only on average get around 65 players but i can guarentee you that event at 10:30- 11:00pm there is still 30 or so players who played that night still there not including those playing, and thats why the club is now putting a $500 table on for the top 8 at the venue 3 times a season now
